Phase 1b of the COVID-19 Phase 1b rollout starts Monday 22 March

By Ante Batistic posted 19-03-2021 10:06

Phase 1b of the vaccination rollout is starting this coming Monday 22 March. The Department of Health has just released the list of GP practices and other locations where COVID-19 vaccinations will be available. Members and dental staff can find a list of vaccination clinics here.

We encourage members to book an appointment as soon as possible through the Government’s vaccine eligibility checker as most GPs will have limited supplies of the vaccine in the initial rollout stages. You may find that your regular GP is not participating yet and you may need to visit a practice that you don’t normally attend. The Government is aiming to progressively increase the number of vaccination locations from the initial 1,000 to more than 4,000 by the end of April.

A reminder that the ADA has developed a proof of employment template which can be used to prove eligibility for vaccination in Phase 1b of the roll-out. Registered practitioners can also use evidence of their APRHA registration.

I just got my vaccination yesterday. I found a close by GP/Respiratory clinic and they did it for me - pretty simple, straightforward process.
